IGV is an ETF that tracks the U.S. technology/software sector.
It holds large tech companies focused on software, internet, and IT services, and reflects the overall demand for tech stocks.

  • Feb 17, 2026 — IGV — bounce attempt off a well-known demand zone IGV has dropped into a key support area, a zone where buyers have stepped in multiple times before and pushed price higher. Historically, price doesn’t spend much time here — demand tends to show up fast. The setup is supported by the bigger picture: -the software/tech sector looks deeply oversold, -the selloff was sharp and emotional, -price is reacting right at prior bounce levels. This kind of combo often sets up a technical bounce, at least driven by short covering and a mean reversion move. Not calling a full market reversal — this is more of a level-to-level trade with clearly defined risk and a solid bounce potential based on the chart. If buyers step in again, iShares Expanded Tech-Software Sector ETF ($IGV) could surprise with a quick upside pop
  • Aug 14, 2026 — We are taking profits here—an excellent risk-reward outcome on the position.
